In an historical residence of XVth Century completely restored with period furniture and in the logic of bio-architecture, 4 km. far from Verona and 10 km. from the Garda lake is situate our B&B a place that summons up the charme and the atmosphere of the past. The owners of the house will be glad to receive you as friends in a quiet and a relaxing place suited to people logging for culture, sport and relax.
When you enter the house you will find yourselves directly in the comfortable living room, which surrounds the large sixteenth century tuff fireplace. In the center there is a small cozy living room and a nineteenth century walnut dining table. The buffet breakfast, which will satisfy the taste buds of all our guests with a variety of jams, fruit, yogurt and homemade cakes, is served in the living room. During the nice season breakfast is served outdoors in the small garden. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
All the comfortable and romantic rooms are different from one another. They are embellished by forms, soft shades and warm colors through the use of earths of the region and refined in every small detail with the clear purpose of amazing and stirring our guests emotions, by creating a particular union that combines the poetry of ancient times with the comfort of the present. There are four rooms available for our guests, all of them overlooking the marvelous courtyard of the sixteenth century palace. All rooms are double rooms with private bathroom; two of them can be arranged with twin beds.
The rooms in our accommodation in Verona are equipped with hairdryer, magnifying mirror, web-mail access and telephone. Some also have a safe, a Jacuzzi whirlpool and a Turkish bath. At the disposal of our guests there is a lounge room, painted in rose color, with a small fireplace. It can be used as a reading room, relaxation room or satellite TV room. Web mail access is also available.
In the summer our guest will be able to relax in the outdoor garden where wooden chairs and tables are at their disposal.
There are no air conditioners but the temperature is kept under control by the ancient walls and by a pleasant breeze
For respect towards the owners of the house and the other guests smoking is prohibited

Reaching our B&B in Verona is extremely easy and the ride, as you will see for yourself, is really short

The Siracusa B&B “Il Labirinto” arises in the heart of Ortigia Island, at the interchange between Via Dione, – a well known alleyway, holy to the ancient Greeks – Via Roma, Via Amalfitania and Via Maestranza leading to a stunning seafront.
The Island appears today as the result of innumerable ages’ superimpositions due to the continuous use of the same fabric of the city. Its baroque glamour can be seen through Via Delle Maestranze e Via Roma, characterized by the feature of luxurious façades of noble buildings inherited by the Aristocracy during the Spanish period. The B&B Il Labirinto is located into one of the neighbouring alleyways.
The B&B in Siracusa is about thirty metres from Archimede Square and its magnificent fountain named after “Diana”, the Greek divinity representing the Hunting Goddess. The area is considered by tourists one of the most favourite meeting point. It is situated within an easy walk to the Cathedral (the ancient Acropolis) and very close to Aretusa Spring where papyrus plants grow. In this area, just by the Big Sea Port over the glittering Mediterranean Sea, it is possible to admire one of the most striking sunset of Sicily.
The property, dates back to the 16th century and has been made out of an ancient building once belonged to a noble family, undergoing a refined work of restoration and it. It still keeps intact all the characteristics of the Sicilian houses at that time. The surrounded area is quiet although pubs and all sorts of attractions are very easy to find.
The rooms are well structured and furnished with extreme care. Equipped with private bathroom provided with hairdryer and showers; linkup sat TV; telephone; heating system and air conditioning.
A typical Mediterranean Breakfast can be enjoyed either in the breakfast room on the top floor, under a gazebo or even in a relaxing atmosphere of a cosy and verdant terrace, served by our attentive staff. A customer care service is offered to anyone who needs information or assistance on cultural visits. Besides, during the summer season, it is possible to do boat excursions, run directly by the property. The sea is within reach. There is a tiny sandy beach past the Aretusa Spring and a cliff provided with cat-walk leading directly to the sea from where most of the tourists love diving. An extraordinary landscape!

How to reach us
Coming from Catania: follow the signs leading to Siracusa South; at the ring road turn left and keep going straight ahead. Having passed by the railroad station, reach for Morconi Square; then follow the sign to “ ORTIGIA”. Reach for Via Malta where a bridge ( Ponte Umberto) connects the City to the Island. Cross the bridge and keep walking all the way down to Archimede Square. Get into Via Maestranza and on your right you will find the Sign B&B Il Labirinto***.
